Introduction

Universal Storage Technology is now used beyond mobile phones. It has deployed automotive (Safety critical use case), client computing, gaming, consumer home use products and cloud storage products. UFS2.2 (5.6Gbps per lane) /3.1 and 4.0 (23.32Gbps per lane) storage technology provides storage performance for different applications. UFS Technology is an embedded high speed interface. It is challenging to qualify and validate the devices for different protocol performance during your system design and UFS device validation.

To address this need MIPI Alliance developed the UniPro® Conformance Test Suite as well as JEDEC is providing UFS Conformance Test Suite. By testing storage devices these two protocol layers ensure it is reliable and robust.

In this webinar, Prodigy Technovations, a contributing member of MIPI Alliance provides an overview about the UniPro® Conformance Test suite and UFS Test suite. Also PGY-UFS4-EX-PD UFS2.2/3.2/4.0 Protocol Exerciser/Tester along with protocol analysis solution to address these needs.

Agenda

  • Overview of Universal Storage Technology and its deployment across industries
  • UFS2.2 / UFS3.1 / UFS4.0 speeds and application requirements
  • Challenges in system design validation for UFS Technology
  • Overview of UniPro Conformance Test Suite (MIPI)
  • Overview of UFS Conformance Test Suite (JEDEC)
  • PGY-UFS4-EX-PD Exerciser/Tester and Protocol Analysis capabilities
