Role Overview

We are seeking a high-energy Sales Manager – Individual Contributor (IC) to drive business growth for Prodigy Technovations across India, based out of our Bangalore office. The role will be responsible for expanding Prodigy’s presence among leading semiconductor design centers, Tier-1 technology companies, and ecosystem partners. The candidate will work closely with validation engineering, hardware, design, and procurement teams to identify opportunities and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute target-account strategies to accelerate the adoption of Prodigy’s Protocol Analyzers, Exercisers, and Logic Analyzers across the Indian semiconductor market.
• Pipeline Generation & Ownership: Own the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, customer engagement, technical discovery, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.
• Account Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including VLSI design managers, post-silicon validation leads, engineering leaders, and procurement teams.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with internal Application Engineering (AE) and Product Management teams to support product demonstrations, technical evaluations, and customer Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
• Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic relationships within the semiconductor ecosystem.
• Market Insights: Stay informed about semiconductor R&D trends, pre- and post-silicon validation requirements, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Approximately 8 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, account management, or business development within the semiconductor, test & measurement, EDA, or related technology industries.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, validation workflows, protocol analyzers, digital test instruments, or related engineering tools.
• Individual Contributor Mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently identify and develop new business opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and close high-value deals with minimal supervision.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or a related technical discipline. MBA is a plus.
• Key Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills.
• Market Network: An established network within the Indian semiconductor ecosystem will be an added advantage.

Role & responsibilities

• Design Ownership - Lead the complete hardware design process, including architecture definition, circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout for high-speed digital and mixed-signal boards.
• High-Speed Design - Perform schematic and board-level design for high-speed protocols such as PCIe Gen4/Gen5, DDR4/DDR5, USB 4.0, and MIPI.
• Simulation & Analysis - Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis to ensure design reliability.
• Lab Validation - Lead board bring-up, troubleshooting, and debugging using advanced lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
• Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with Firmware, Software, FPGA, and QA teams to ensure successful system integration and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Documentation - Prepare detailed design specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and validation reports.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or related field from a reputed institute.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in board-level design within the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in high-density/high-speed design including FPGAs, SerDes, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, UFS 4.0, 10/100 GigE, C-PHY/D-PHY, and USB 3.2.
• Experience interfacing high-speed memories such as DDR4/DDR5, RDIMM, and SODIMM modules.
• Strong experience in system integration, schematic design, and PCB layout using industry-standard tools such as SPICE, Altium, or Cadence.
• Hands-on experience in hardware validation, board bring-up, and troubleshooting using advanced laboratory equipment.
• Experience in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis, including high-speed analog simulations using tools such as HFSS, SIwave, ADS, and HyperLynx.
• Hands-on experience with 33GHz and 50GHz oscilloscopes and GHz pattern generators for protocol capture, timing, and eye diagram analysis.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with RTL, Software, and Quality teams for system-level debugging and integration.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare documentation as per organizational standards.

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Program Manager to drive the execution of electronic test equipment development programs. This role will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams across hardware, FPGA, embedded firmware, application software, UI development, conformance, and system testing. The focus is on structured execution, milestone management, quality discipline, and alignment with customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive coordination between hardware, firmware, FPGA, application software, UI, and validation teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed program schedules and engineering milestones.
• Ensure adherence to a structured gated product development process.
• Track dependencies, risks, and issue resolution across engineering streams.
• Monitor quality metrics, defect tracking, and test coverage to ensure product robustness.
• Coordinate customer requirements, feature tracking, and release commitments.
• Provide clear program visibility through dashboards and structured reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics and Communication
• 6–10 years of program management experience in electronics product development including hardware and software.

Qualifications

• The candidate will be responsible for architecture/micro-architecture design and implementation of the logic in Verilog for targeted FPGA, writing test benches to validate the design etc.
• Job involves frequent interaction with board design, software, testing and lab teams to deliver the product meeting the customer requirements.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Electronics from a reputed college. Specialization in VLSI and Embedded Design is a plus.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in designing and implementing FPGA based solution in Xilinx or Altera FPGA, preferably FPGA based product development experience.
• Must have experience in System Design with Xilinx/Altera FPGA devices with relevant tools.
• Must have experience in Verilog and/or VHDL coding.
• Must have experience in synthesis and implementation (floor planning and placement and routing) using FPGA tools.
• Must have experience in using constraints to achieve timing requirement.
• Experience in working on high speed FPGA designs is a major plus.
• Thorough knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA) is an added advantage.
• Must have experience in building test bench for verification.
• Must have experience in board level testing and system debugging.
• Must have knowledge in any of the protocols like UFS, UniPro, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, I3C, I2C, SPI, QSPI, UART, JTAG, SPMI, RFFE, SD, eMMC etc.
• Must have hands on experience with FPGA debugging tools and test & measurement instruments such as oscilloscope and Logic Analyzer.
• Should have strong problem solving and debugging skills.
